Your loved ones from US can now save up to 95% when they call you with the newest inbound calling service from Globe Telecom.

Through the Globe Super U.S. Direct offer, Philippine-based Globe subscribers receiving calls from United State of America (USA) can avail of a great offer. This amazing offer is available to both prepaid and postpaid Globe Telecom subscribers. Philippine-based subscribers are provided with virtual US landline numbers which they can use to receive incoming calls from USA. These calls are charged with local US call rates as opposed to IDD rates.

For only US$15 (or P699) the Philippine-based Globe Telecom mobile number will have its own US number with a US area code. This is valid for one month. US based relatives, friends, and contacts are then charged with local call rates based on their respective plans.

According to Richie Sison, Globe Telecom’s Head for Overseas Filipino Communities and Strategic Alliances “With Globe Super U.S. Direct, families separated by distance need not worry about high overseas call rates that prohibit them from calling the Philippines regularly. Those based in the U.S. can now call their loved ones here more frequently to keep their bonds and ties intact despite being away from each other.”

Sison reiterates, “The service is really beneficial to both parties. U.S.-based subscribers on unlimited plans can enjoy unlimited calling services to their relatives in the Philippines using Super U.S. Direct. On the other hand, those using the product here don’t need to bother scheduling calls just to save on costs. Using the Globe Super U.S. Direct is as convenient and affordable as local to local U.S. call, making subscribers feel closer to each other.”

Calls made from outside the U.S. to a Super U.S. Direct number, standard IDD rates will apply. Regular IDD rates of US$0.40/minute will be charged for outbound calls to the U.S. using the service.

To register, text SUPERUSDIRECT699 and send to 8888. Subscriber will receive the assigned U.S. number and date of expiration via text message. Registration can also be done via the Globe website at http://superusdirect.globe.com.ph found under the International tab.

Globe has a strong international coverage around the world, offering a suite of international services to over 250 destinations and more than 600 roaming partners worldwide. Visit www.globe.com.ph/kababayan for more details.
