Cignal Digital TV is here. Well, it has been here since July 2009 but it has only been launched to members of the press and the New Media in Davao City just today.

For affordable rates, Cignal provides a quality viewing experience that includes eight of the top channels in high definition.

The Cignal HD Satellite Kit costs a one time fee of P6,500 and a monthly subscription fee of P990. The eight channels in high def are HBO, Star Movies, the National Geographic Channel, the History Channel, Disney Playhouse, Sony Entertainment Television, ESPN, and Star Sports. This service is targeted for those who want an enhanced viewing experience with their HD TV.

Meanwhile, the Cignal Digital TV Satellite Kit costs a one-time fee of P4,700 and a monthly subscription fee of P390. It has 21 channels inlcuding CNN, AXN, ETC, and 2nd Avenue. Cignal TV is targeting some 2.5 million ABC households who are not yet served by cable providers.

And there’s also a Cignal Combo Bundle which costs a one-time fee of P6,500 and a monthly subscription fee of P1,290.

    Hi Ria,

    If my ears didn’t deceive me, I think I heard one of the Cignal TV guys saying something about a discounted price for its standard definition one-time fee. From P4,700 they’re bringing it down to P1,500!
